Today we started our newest math lesson on solving one step story problems. We looked at an array and then the students worked in groups to write a story problem that another student would need to answer. This was pretty challenging for a lot of students, but we will continue working on this skill. Starting tomorrow the students will begin adding variables, letters, into their math equations. This will be an interesting challenge.
In addition our kindness activity of the day was to make candy cane mice and deliver them to another class anonymously. The students had a great time with this project and are finding the joy in giving. I can't wait to see what JJ will bring for tomorrow's kindness activity!
